Rachael's Trivia Challenge

 In November 2010 my friend Bruce Carey passed away aged 34 in an aged care facility and as a result my friends and I began fundraising for Youngcare. Youngcare aims to provide age appropriate care to young people with high care needs. After finding that Youngcare was being included in the Amazing People Project I decided to fundraise for this also.

The date is set for my big trivia night fundraiser. 26th August @ 7pm, Canterbury Leagues club, $25. We have had some fabulous support from the buisness community with some wonderful prizes from Dendy Cinema, Sydney Indoor Rock Climbing Gym, Drag Star, Woolworths Liquor, BWS, Australia News with magazine subscriptions, Triple J with a t-shirt and DVD pack, Harvey Norman and Myer gift cardsand RAW Anthony Nader sydney's premier hairdresser...

Some more great businesses have come forward and need a big thank you; Mitre 10 canterbury, Belvoir Theatre, Art gallery of NSW, SBS, Cricket NSW, Beach skydive, and an extra big thank you to COTY Australia for their generous donation of some great fragrances and their personal words of encouragement for my fundraising work... makes me feel excited about those wonderful people that are looking to help others in need... Thank you, Thank you.

Some more awesome prizes have rolled in: 2 family passes for the Powerhouse museum, family ticket on the cockatoo express, coffee cruise from captain cook cruises, tall ship cruise, 100 big mac vouchers donated by McDonalds...so it looks like all of those coming along will be a winner!

Still awaiting the outcome of some other prizes that have been discussed, fingers crossed!
